Plain English. If you use findoctors.in, these are the rules. They exist to keep the directory honest and useful for everyone.
What this is
findoctors.in is a community directory of healthcare providers in India. It is an information resource — not a medical service, not a booking platform, and not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified doctor for medical decisions.
What you can do
- Search for doctors, clinics, and hospitals
- View contact details after signing in
- Submit corrections and new providers
- Use the directory for personal, non-commercial purposes
What you cannot do
- Scrape or bulk harvest data — especially phone numbers. Provider contact details are real people's numbers. Scraping them for spam, telemarketing, or resale is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
- Submit false information — deliberately adding wrong provider details, fake doctors, or misleading specializations harms real people trying to find healthcare.
- Use automated tools to abuse the search API — rate limits are in place. Circumventing them is not allowed.
- Impersonate providers — do not claim to be a doctor or clinic you are not.
- Commercial use without permission — you may not repackage or resell this data.
Accuracy of information
This directory is community-maintained. We do our best to keep information accurate but we cannot guarantee every entry is correct or up to date. If you find wrong information, please suggest a correction — that is how the directory improves.
findoctors.in is not liable for decisions made based on information in the directory. Always verify contact details directly with the provider before visiting.
Your contributions
When you submit a provider or correction, you confirm that:
- The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You are not submitting spam, fake entries, or malicious data
- You grant findoctors.in the right to use and display the information in the directory
Provider removal requests
If you are a healthcare provider and want your information removed from the directory, email us at hello@findoctors.in. We will remove it within 7 days. No questions asked.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account. If you notice unauthorised use, contact us immediately. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top will always reflect the last change. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
